Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam has urged the youth and students to join his ‘Dharma Yudham’ (fight for justice) and to form a government in the Tamil Nadu State that would be transparent and free of corruption.

All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) Puratchi Thalaivi Amma faction meeting organised at Coimbatore on Saturday to prepare for party founder MG Ramachandran (MGR) birth anniversary celebrations, OPS said that with the interests of the State in mind, he would formulate policies and the youth would implement them.

When he was heading the State Government after former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa’s demise, he had worked with the Central Government on various issues such as the release of water from Andhra Pradesh to Chennai.
The present government was not taking a proactive approach towards governance. Nor was it keen on implementing the schemes announced by Jayalalithaa.
The Edappadi K. Palaniswami government was not solving issues such as NEET, Kadiramangalam, or Neduvasal.
Mr Panneerselvam also took on the Edappadi K. Palaniswami government saying it should have responded to actor Kamal Hassan’s criticism in a dignified manner.
