RASHTRIYA LOK Dal (RLD) chief Ajit Singh on Thursday described Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a “classic liar, who cheated and misled people with his jumps”.
Singh, who was addressing a rally at Akola in Agra district, claimed RLD was not in talks with any party and would contest the 2017 Assembly polls alone. He went on to attack both BJP and the ruling SP in UP, accusing them of communalizing politics and dividing people into lines of caste and religion.
Claiming that the UP elections’ result would be the “beginning of Modi and BJP’s decimation”, Singh accused the right-wing parties of communalizing the state’s atmosphere ahead of the polls. On the alleged exodus of Hindu families from Kairana in eastern UP, Singh said: “People had not migrated from there because of communal issues but due to natural causes like shifting to other places for better opportunities.”
He dubbed Modi and BJP as “anti-Dalits, farmers, minorities and backward classes” while referring to a Dalit family in Gujarat being beaten up for skinning a dead cow and UP BJP leader Dayashankar Singh comparing BSP chief Mayawati to a prostitute.
Taking on SP, Singh said: “There is no law and order in the state… No investments were coming in… Those in power are busy looting public money… Jobs are being sold to the highest bidder and merit had taken a back seat.”
While Singh did not comment on BSP or Congress in his entire address, he maintained that no party would get a majority in UP polls this time.
