Kadavul Irukan Kumaru starring G.V.Prakash, Anandhi, Nikki Galrani and RJ Balaji is now out in theaters. Want to know whether this film is as entertaining as expected. Continue reading our review.
The film opens with Kumar (GV Prakash) and Priya (Nikki) getting engaged to each other. With marriage just two days away, Kumar and his friend Balaji (RJ Balaji) goes on a road trip to Pondicherry to enjoy the bachelor party.
We also showed a flashback of Kumar’s first love with Nancy (Anandhi), and some comic sequences of how they get separated.
While returning they get plunged into a huge trouble, as they get caught by police officer Manimaran (Prakashraj) for smuggling liquor from Pondicherry into Tamilnadu.
The rest of the film is all about what Kumar and Balaji do to escape from the hold of the police, and also how Kumar realizes his love for Nancy.
Maybe this is not what GV Prakash fans expect from him. His role in the film has nothing to prove about his acting skills and his performance looks the same as his first film Darling.
Anandhi looks cute and charming. Meanwhile, Nikki Galrani has not more than 10 minutes of screentime. The performances of Prakashraj, RJ Balaji, Robo Shankar and their comedy was the only relief in the movie.
Kaduvul Irukan Kumaru a yet another comedy entertainer by Rajesh which partially impresses. The script might have looked impressive on paper, but the final project, what we see on the screen was too messy.
