Telugu Desam Party and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Friday opined that Rs 2,000 and Rs 500 currency notes are not needed.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on 8th November 2016 withdraw the cash withdrawal of 500 and 1,000 rupees.
“We don’t need Rs 2,000 and Rs 500 currency notes. Small (Demonetisation) notes (Rs 200 and Rs 100) are enough. We have to go for online transactions for the big amount. He told news reports.
Speaking to reporters in Amravati, Chandrabhayu Naidu does not need 2000 and 500 bank notes. 200 and 100 rupees notes are sufficient.
