At least 30 people were reportedly died and over 250 injured in Panchkula violence that took place after Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh was pronounced guilty of rape by the special CBI court in Panchkula on Friday.
He is guilty then CBI court ordered to remove Z category security which was earlier provided to Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh was withdrawn.
Ram Rahim Singh was taken into judicial custody and the quantum of sentence will be announced on Monday, August 28.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned the violence calling it “deeply distressing”. PM Modi Urged officials to work round the clock to restore normalcy and provide all possible assistance that is required.
