External affairs minister Sushma Swaraj tweeted on Wednesday morning she was admitted to Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences because of a kidney failure, the second time she has been hospitalised this year.
The 64-year-old said she is undergoing tests for a kidney transplant and is on dialysis. “Lord Krishna will bless.”

The BJP leader has had a history of diabetes and was admitted to AIIMS in April after she complained of chest congestion.
Agencies say her history of chronic diabetes has affected her kidney functioning.
The minister was admitted to AIIMS on November 7 at the cardio-neuro centre under the supervision of Balram Airan, chief of the Cardio Thoracic Centre.
