Chennai: Tamil Nadu Death Chief Minister Jayalalithaa was admitted to Apollo Hospital on September 22 last year. She died on December 5 after 75 days of treatment. The present Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam requested that justice should be investigated for Jayalalithaa’s death.
Accordingly, the Court of Inquiry headed by the High Court retired judge Arumugasamy issued the order on September 25, 2017.
Jayalalithaa‘s death inquiry commission was set up on the first floor of the Ezhilagam Kala Sangha. Retired Judge Arumugasamy initiated an investigation.
Judge Arumugasamy is expected to report to the government within a period of time after the trial has been given for three months to complete the inquiry.
In this case, the inquiry commission has so far received 70 complaints regarding Jayalalithaa’s death. It has been revealed that eight persons including DM Saravanan had filed the affidavit in the inquiry commission of retired judge Arumugamasi.
On the 22nd, Saravanan has been summoned to interrogate and the inquiry said. The person has been invited personally and has been summoned to explain.
