“There are a lot of questions as to whether students from state board can succeed all-India competitive exams. Let me assure you that our state board syllabus is not inferior to any other board in our country.” Mr Palaniswami said.

School education minister K.A.Sengottaiyan said, “For the first time in the country, the state government is providing free coaching for government school students. With this coaching, students will clear any competitive exam.”
Tamil Nadu Government Signed a MoU
Tamil Nadu government has signed a MoU with Speed Trust to provide free coaching to state board students. The state government is planning to set up 412 centres covering all blocks in the state.
Stating that the rest of centres will be inaugurated soon, the CM said, “So far, 73,000 students have enrolled for coaching. Students who enrolled for the coaching would not need any additional coaching to face the competitive exams.”
The classes will be conducted in both English and Tamil. Students will be provided with 30 books with more than 54,000 objective type questions in key subjects like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
