Lenovo has teased the launch of the K5 Note in India. The company posted a tweet with the hashtag “#KillerNote5”, pretty much confirming that the device in question is the K5 Note, which was launched in China back in January.

To recall, the Lenovo K5 Note features a metal unibody design and a fingerprint scanner. The 5.5-incher packs in a full HD display and is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 SoC, aided by 2GB of RAM. The handset comes with 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded further with the help of a microSD card. The camera department is taken care of by a 13MP/8MP camera combo. The dual-SIM 4G capable smartphone draws power from a 3,300mAh battery. The company has also included a 1.5W speaker at the back with Dolby Atmos Surround Sound.
The smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with VIBE UI on top. The teasers by the company point to July 20th as the launch date for the smartphone in India. In China, the K5 Note is available in Gold and Silver hues.
The K5 Note would succeed the K4 Note (review), which is available on Amazon India at a price of Rs 10,999. Earlier this week, Lenovo launched the K4 Note Wooden Edition in India for Rs 11,499.
