Samsung has started taking pre-orders for the upcoming Galaxy Note7 flagship phablet in Dubai. Users can pre-order the phone by making a deposit of AED 500 (around Rs 9,130) until August 2nd, and be the first to get their hands on when the phone launches next month. Those who pre-order the phone in Dubai will get a 128GB microSD card for free when they receive the phone. The price of the Note7 hasn’t been disclosed, though.
In related news, a new bunch of press renders of the Galaxy Note7 has also been leaked online. The new renders leak shows the gold, silver and blue variants of the phone.
The phone appears to have the more rounded design, and an edge-to-edge curved display. The new S Pen for the phone is also visible in the renders. Recently, a hands-on video of the Galaxy Note 7 was leaked online, which showed the dual-edged design. Another video of the phone showing its iris scanner in action was also leaked.
As per the rumor mill, the Samsung Galaxy Note7 will sport a 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display and will be powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor. The phone will offer 4GB or 6GB of RAM, a 12MP rear snapper, a 5MP front shooter, 64GB of expandable storage, Marshmallow, a heart rate sensor, a fingerprint reader, 4G LTE, a USB Type-C port, and a 3,600mAh battery with fast charging. The company will unveil the phone at an event in New York on August 2nd and is expected to start selling it on the same day in select countries.
